Perhaps, if we all live as we feel we ought to live, without expectation of reward or good tidings, perhaps then we will come to know in great detail our own humanity and begin to live peacefully with one another, regardless of circumstance. Many philosophical lenses do offer some type of trade system, wherein we offer good to another, believing it will one day return to us; if we choose to do good, however, can it be truly sincere if we are simply doing so based on a promise of reward? I certainly do not have the answers. ~ Regards, James
