Saffron Hues

Soft, spiny and dusted.

Three textures found in bloom, shell and root.

The flower, skybound.

The lobster shell, washed ashore from the ocean floor.

The turmeric root, unearthed and ground to powder.

All with hints of saffron shade, near my kitchen window, Sunday.
