Beautiful mangos! I just picked a bunch off of a friends’ two mango trees. I also got a pineapple from the backyard; the sweetest one I’ve ever gotten from there.
I’ve always wondered why everyone doesn’t just plant fruit trees and edibles in every yard, on every street corner. I guess it’s the potential for a rotting fruit problem.
Such a gift to harvest from your own yard. Rotting fruit can be a minor issue, but I think that people just don’t always consider the option of growing edibles. You might not be able to grow a mango tree in a suburban housing area, but there are plenty ways to grow food in containers and people are getting very creative. Love it! Enjoy that pineapple!
