Mary gifts the Bohemian and I a chayote.
We could eat it, as is, but it’s starting to root.
So instead, we’ll put this big, luscious seed-of-a-gourd in the earth and see how it grows. It’ll need plenty of room to sprawl.

You actually can get lotus seeds from buying dry lotus seed pods in any craft store cheap, and plant them. They will grow! Try it and have fun!
