Oahu

The Bohemian and I leave Kauai and fly to Oahu for the day (an important appointment calls us there, more about our adventures in a future post).

Some may think of Hawaii as a group of islands, all pretty much the same.  But each one has its own kind of feeling.  Kauai is known as the “Garden Island”, where, supposedly, no building is taller than a coconut tree.

Oahu treated us so well.  But it’s certainly a different sort of paradise.

Within A Mystery

All eyes have been to the sky on a storm watch these past few days.

Crisis averted and the current forecast has us at wind speeds of 0 mph with a chance of precipitation at 90%. All is well in this steamy kind of soup within which we sit.

As we sweat it out, might as well shift focus from the vast expanse to more earthly minutiae.

Like this small piece of something akin to moss but of the sea.  So tiny, and so green.

Ah…in the grand scheme, we are but just a grain of sand, ensnared within a mystery.
