I used Mary’s Romanesco broccoli for coconut soup this weekend.

As I sliced the psychedelic-looking pieces, I came upon a plump caterpillar resting in the vividly fractal world.

Reminded me of the Hookah-Smoking Caterpillar in Alice in Wonderland.  No conversation was exchanged.  But it granted me some photos.  Then I offered relocation to the kitchen compost bowl.

Just goes to show…start working with the vegetables from Mary’s garden and one can be transported to another world.
